Researchers from the University of Alberta, Department of Agricultural, Food, and Nutritional Science, evaluated the effects of o3mega+ think supplementation in children with attention deficit/hyperactivity disorder (39 children aged 5-13, 4-month study, dosage was based on body weight and compared to olive oil placebo). Medical Symptom Questionnaire (MSQ) and the ADHD Conner’s Rating Scale both showed a significant improvement in ADHD symptoms in the active o3mega+ think group. Improvements in symptoms were associated with elevations in blood DHA levels. The results were presented at the Annual Meeting of the Canadian Psychological Association in Montreal, June 2009.
