25 and we got a hot new makeover (but we’re still the same on the inside)

By Genuine Health

What were you doing 25 years ago? Chances are you were wearing different clothes, listening to different music, and hanging out with different people. But even if you looked and acted a little different, we bet you were the same person then as you are now.

The same can be said of greens+, which we launched 25 years ago. While the outside of the bottle may have changed, the formula of greens+, with its blend of 23 synergistic fruit, veggie and herbal extracts, has stayed the same.

When greens+ was launched, the glowing reviews came pouring in – people were amazed by how great they felt, how much energy they had, and how their digestion had improved. We naturally wanted to find out why, so we invested in the research. Since its launch, greens+ has been the subject of 14 studies and is the ONLY superfood that has been scientifically PROVEN to:

Increase energy and vitality

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study out of University of Toronto found that greens+ significantly improved the energy of 100 Toronto women when taken over the course of 3 months (versus a placebo). Data also showed improvements in mental health, vitality, well-being and overall health. (1)

Provides antioxidants

Another study out of the University of Toronto found that greens+ protects against oxidative damage, which is linked to cardiovascular, neurological and psychiatric illnesses. Following one month of consumption, greens+ significantly improved antioxidant status and prevented oxidative damage to both proteins and lipid components of cells. greens+ was also shown to lower LDL (harmful) and total cholesterol levels. (2)

Balances pH

A clinical trial found that greens+ significantly reduced urinary pH. Researchers examined the influence of greens+ in 34 healthy Canadian adults. Sixty-two percent of the participants were found to have a two-fold difference in the direction of alkalinity (meaning that they became more alkaline). (3)

Contains higher phytonutrients

We always knew that greens+ was special, and we wanted to find out just how much more special (boy, that was a mouthful) it was. We had a third party, independent lab analyze greens+ compared to competing green foods, all-in-ones, liquid greens and high antioxidant fruits and veggies, like blueberries and kale. The results? greens+ blew them all out of the water – including the fruits and veggies. Check it out

Acts like the ultimate prebiotic

A prebiotic is a type of fibre that nourishes gut bacteria. The prebiotics that we’ve known, like inulin, for example, feed both friendly and unfriendly bacteria in the gut. This can cause gas and bloating for anyone with an imbalance of gut bacteria (which, let’s be honest, is a lot of us!).The definition of prebiotic was just expanded to include polyphenols, which are a type of phytonutrient, or plant chemical found in greens+. This is amazing news, because polyphenols seem to feed friendly bacteria only. This is one great reason why greens+ is great for gut health – because it feeds friendly bacteria and encourages them to take up residence in the gut!

Among green food supplements, only greens+ with its high quality ingredients and unique blend of standardized herbs is research-proven to provide these results. greens+ has accomplished a lot in its 25 years, and this is only the beginning.
