Blood Sugar Stabilizing Smoothie

Serves 1

This smoothie is the perfect way to pack healthy fats, fiber, protein, including L-glutamine into your diet in one shot, helping to balance blood sugar levels and preventing energy crashes throughout the day.

Ingredients:

  • 1 c nut or seed milk (I used coconut milk from a carton)
  • 1/2 lemon, juiced
  • 1 banana
  • 2 handfuls baby spinach
  • 1 tbsp ground flaxseed
  • 1 scoop vegan protein+ powder (vanilla flavour)
  • 1 tsp raw honey (optional – if you want it sweeter)
  • 1/2 c ice

Instructions:

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender in the order listed and blend until smooth.
  2. Serve immediately.
