Vegan protein nacho “cheese”

No cheese harmed in the making of these nachos! Top your favourite corn chips with our protein packed vegan cheese, and all the fixings you can handle.

Serves 6-8


  • ¾ cup cashews, soaked overnight and drained
  • ¾ cup filtered water (more if you like a like your “cheese” to be thinner)
  • ½ cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • 2 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp tamari
  • ¼ tsp sea salt
  • ¼ cup fermented vegan proteins+ unflavoured
  • Tabasco, or hot sauce of choice to taste


  1. Place all ingredients in a blend. Blend on high until smooth and creamy.
  2. Serve with corn chips, black beans, salsa, guacamole or favourite nacho toppings
